Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision
- Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and special dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, wine knowledge, or dietary needs confidently
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is highly desirable
- Experience with fine dining service, cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, spirits handling, and beverage service is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to build guest rapport
- Experience in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
