We are seeking an experienced Heavy Truck and Equipment Mechanic to join our growing team. This is year-round steady work with overtime. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and repairing heavy trucks and equipment, with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair heavy trucks and heavy equipment, including engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, brakes, and suspension systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment and vehicles.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a heavy truck or heavy equipment mechanic.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical systems.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, suspension, brakes and diesel engines.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $27.00 - $38.00 per hour
