Registered Nurse (RN) – Radiation Oncology
Location: Washington DC Metro Area | Full-Time
$90,000 – $120,000 Salary + $15,000 Bonus Package
Compensation Highlights:

NurseAmerica is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Oncology RN to join a high-performing outpatient team supporting patients undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments (medical history, labs, psychosocial needs)
- Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Administer medications, chemotherapy-related treatments, and blood products
- Perform venipuncture and manage central lines and implanted ports
- Monitor patient response to treatment and coordinate dose adjustments
- Provide patient and family education and emotional support
- Ensure accurate documentation and proper treatment authorization
- Follow OSHA and infection control standards for hazardous materials
- Assist with patient flow, triage calls, scheduling, and referrals
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and clinical teams
Qualifications:
- Active RN license (Maryland)/ Compact
- BLS certification
- 1–3 years RN experience (oncology preferred)
- Strong clinical and communication skills
Work Environment:
- Outpatient oncology setting
- Exposure to radiation and cytotoxic agents
- Standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 lbs required
