As a Part-Time Emergency Services Instructor, you'll provide engaging classroom, laboratory, and skills-based instruction that prepares students for careers in emergency medical services. You'll help students build the confidence, competence, and professionalism required to provide exceptional patient care in emergency situations.
In this role, you will:

Deliver classroom and hands-on instruction aligned with program curriculum and current EMS standards.

Demonstrate and evaluate emergency medical skills in laboratory, simulation, and clinical settings.

Assist with curriculum development and continuous program improvement.

Monitor student progress and provide timely coaching, mentoring, and competency evaluations.

Conduct and evaluate required skills pass-offs.

Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and competency documentation.

Foster a safe, professional, and supportive learning environment.

Collaborate with faculty and staff to promote student success and program excellence.

Model professionalism, ethical decision-making, teamwork, and evidence-based patient care.

Stay current with EMS protocols, instructional methods, and industry best practices.

Perform other duties as assigned.
This position offers the opportunity to help prepare highly skilled emergency medical professionals who will make a lasting impact in the communities they serve.
Successful candidates will have:

A current EMT certification (or higher).

At least one year of experience working in emergency medical services as a paramedic.

A current EMS Instructor Certification at the Paramedic level, or the ability to obtain and maintain certification.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The ability to effectively teach and evaluate emergency medical knowledge and clinical skills.

Excellent organizational and classroom management skills.

Previous teaching or instructional experience is preferred but not required.
