Overview
OnDemand Creative Studios is looking for a reliable part-time Studio Assistant to help support our creative studio and event rental space in downtown Portland.
This role is for someone dependable, practical, and comfortable working independently. The main priority is keeping the studio clean, organized, guest-ready, and ready for photo shoots, video shoots, podcast sessions, classes, small events, and creative rentals.
This is a part-time contract role with limited hours to start.
Pay
$17–$25 per hour depending on experience, reliability, availability, and ability to work independently.
Studio rental credit may also be available as a bonus for reliable creative candidates.
Expected Hours
No more than 10 hours per week to start. Hours may increase as studio bookings grow.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the studio before bookings
- Reset and lightly clean the space after bookings
- Move and organize light furniture, props, chairs, tables, and studio items
- Check that the studio looks clean, professional, and guest-ready
- Help with basic event setup and breakdown
- Support guest check-ins when needed
- Report damage, missing items, maintenance issues, or supply needs
- Take simple photos or videos of the space when requested
- Help keep bathrooms, common areas, and studio areas presentable
- Support classes, workshops, shoots, and small creative events as needed
Requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Able to follow instructions and checklists
- Able to lift and move light furniture or studio items when needed
- Available some evenings and weekends
- Respectful of guests, creators, equipment, and the studio space

Important
