Property Inspector – Short-Term Rental Management Company
Location: Cleveland, OH (and surrounding Northeast Ohio markets)
Pay: $30.00 per hour (including drive time)
Schedule: 32–40 hours per week | Flexible Scheduling

HomeHop is one of Northeast Ohio's fastest-growing short-term rental management companies. We manage approximately 120 properties throughout the Ohio market, providing exceptional guest experiences while maintaining high standards across every home.
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Property Inspector to join our team and help ensure our homes consistently meet company standards.
Position Overview
As a Property Inspector, you will travel between our managed properties conducting inspections before and after guest stays, verifying cleanliness standards, identifying maintenance concerns, documenting issues, and ensuring each home is guest-ready.
This role offers significant flexibility, allowing you to build much of your own daily route and schedule while ensuring inspections are completed within required timeframes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of short-term rental properties throughout the Cleveland market
- Verify cleaning quality and overall property readiness
- Identify maintenance, safety, and operational issues
- Take detailed photos and submit inspection reports through company systems
- Communicate findings to operations, cleaning, and maintenance teams
- Perform follow-up inspections when necessary
- Help maintain company quality standards across all properties
Requirements
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- Smartphone with reliable internet access
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable traveling throughout the Cleveland area
- Ability to walk properties, climb stairs, and inspect indoor and outdoor areas
Preferred Qualifications
- Property management experience
- Hospitality or hotel experience
- Maintenance or home inspection experience
- Experience with Airbnb, VRBO, or short-term rentals
