Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated One Year Old Lead Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment tailored specifically for one-year-old children. Your leadership will look ensure that each child's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs are met through innovative curriculum development, personalized child development instruction, and effective classroom management. Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive curriculum that promotes early childhood development, literacy education, and foundational math skills tailored for one-year-olds.
- Create a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence among toddlers.
- Lead daily lesson planning and adapt activities to meet individual child needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention support.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and physical activities such as age-appropriate physical education.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior management strategies, and developmental milestones.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and uphold child welfare standards at all times.
- Foster positive behavior management techniques to promote social-emotional growth and conflict resolution among children.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is essential, with specific experience caring for one-year-olds highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, including toddler care, behavior management, and classroom management strategies.
- Experience developing curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and physical activity tailored for young children.
- Familiarity with special education practices and early intervention programs to support diverse learning needs.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents and team members while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in childhood development or preschool teaching are advantageous.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
