Job Overview
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at a primary care clinic. The ideal candidate will provide medical administrative support and deliver exceptional patient care in an outpatient setting.
Responsibilities:
- Triage approximately 50 patients per day
- Chronic Care Management for approximately 120 patients
- Submit prior authorization requests
- Vaccine management with inventory of 200 + vaccines
- Assist providers with 5+ procedures a day
- Administer vaccines and therapeutic injections
- Assisting approximately 50 patients per day in the check-in and check-out process
- Triage approximately 50 patients per day
- Answering 75 or more phone calls a day
- Checking and evaluating 100+ faxes, voicemails, and emails
- Collecting balances/payments
Qualifications:
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant with 160 externship hours
- Familiarity with CPT and CPTII codes
- Strong organizations skills
- Ability to thrive is a fast-paced environment
- Team player
PERMANENT SCHEDULE
M-F 8am-5pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
