The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Victim Advocate II. This vital role provides essential support services to victims and witnesses throughout the criminal justice process. A Detention Victim Advocate provides support, information, and services to victims of crime whose offenders are currently detained or involved in the detention system. We are committed to providing a supportive and respectful environment for those we serve. The location for this position is in the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center.

SALARY RANGE: $52,832 TO $60,112 (Estimated Annual Salary)

Work Schedule:
This position requires a flexible work schedule, subject to rotation as needed to ensure consistent support services are available. While typical working hours should not extend beyond 9:00 p.m., applicants must understand that this role is occasionally subject to after-hours calls, weekend availability and emergency response requirements in alignment with the needs of the organization.
