RegalCare at Courtyard is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department and ensure high-quality resident care. This is a full-time leadership role for someone who knows how to balance clinical excellence, team management, and compliance.
What you’ll do:
Oversee all nursing operations and clinical services
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and regulatory requirements
Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)
Coordinate resident care plans and monitor outcomes
Collaborate with administrators, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain staffing levels, schedules, and performance standards
Promote a culture of quality, safety, and accountability
What we’re looking for:
Active RN license in good standing
Previous experience as a Director of Nursing or nursing leadership role
Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and best practices
Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage teams, priorities, and fast-paced situations
Long-term care or skilled nursing experience strongly preferred
