We are seeking an experienced concrete quality control technician. This position will add to our existing team supporting our Capital Region & Glens Falls Locations and will report directly to the operations manager with support from the Sales Manager.
Bonded Concrete Inc. is a 4th generation concrete supply company that has been in the material supply industry for over 60 years
Requirements:
- Associates' degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management or related field. Potential to waive associate requirement for candidates with construction industry experience.
- 2-4 years of concrete quality control
- Ability to troubleshoot concrete issues during a concrete placement
- Ability to investigate and resolve concrete issues post placement
- Ability to successfully managing customer relationships
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Highly self-motivated
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Skills in Command Series is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Represent the company during concrete placements and coordinate with operations staff to ensure proper material supply
- Complete customer service for the territory including but not limited to sales leads, project bidding, coordinating mix designs and follow though with collections
- Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects including presentations on value added products
- Communicate customer and prospect product pain points to management
- Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers
- Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the concrete sales and production efforts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
