Join us as a Room Attendant, for the Hampton Inn Pittsburgh Greentree
Responsibilities
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining a close attention to detail
- Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Maintain high energy for long periods of time
- Clean guest rooms, storage areas and corridors as assigned
- Be service orientated - Hospitality is the heart of our business. Must be able to greet guests with a positive attitude at all times.
- Maintain equipment in good condition
- Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash.
Skills
- Previous hospitality/cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work in a team and be self-motivated at times
- Professional and articulate are a must
- Attention to detail is a must
- Excellent time management skills
- Professionalism during stressful times
- Knowledge of English language
- High school degree
- Weekend availability
"Please note: Scheduling is based off of hotel business. Hours worked are directly affected by Hotel occupancy."
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Sanitation knowledge
- Hospitality experience
- Cleaning skills
- Time management abilities
- Proficient in English
- Janitorial, industrial cleaning, or custodial experience is a plus
- Housekeeping management experience would be beneficial
- Previous hotel experience preferred
- Strong understanding of floor care and cleaning techniques
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
