Position Summary
Responsible for the administration, support, security, and continuous improvement of the organization's technology infrastructure, Microsoft 365 environment, EDI systems, business applications, and end-user computing. Oversees all electronic data interchange (EDI) communications between members and suppliers while providing technical support across the organization.
This position also identifies opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and Artificial Intelligence (AI), leveraging approved AI technologies to streamline processes, improve documentation, accelerate troubleshooting, and enhance business operations.

Primary Responsibilities
Enterprise Systems & Infrastructure
- Administer and support Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Zoom, Windows Server, and related IT systems.
- Maintain network and infrastructure services, including Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, file services, virtualization, and network equipment, coordinating with outside technology partners as needed.
- Manage endpoint systems, including software deployment, patching, device lifecycle management, and support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and conference room technology.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, including hardware procurement, account provisioning, licensing, permissions, and system access.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for users, systems, applications, and infrastructure.
EDI Operations
- Monitor and support EDI operations between members and suppliers, including purchase orders, acknowledgements, invoices, and related transactions.
- Troubleshoot EDI transmission, mapping, processing, communication, and data-related issues, coordinating with external providers and other resources as appropriate.
- Administer and support the OpenText Liaison ECS/Delta environment and coordinate trading partner onboarding, testing, system enhancements, and implementation.
- Work with members, suppliers, Accounting, Operations, and other stakeholders to resolve EDI issues and transaction or billing discrepancies, including retransmission or reprocessing when necessary.
Business Applications and Data
- Support NetSuite administration, integrations, troubleshooting, and user requests.
- Develop SQL queries, reports, and data extracts to support operational needs and business decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes through reporting, application enhancements, and technology solutions.
Automation and AI
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve IT and business processes through automation using PowerShell, Power Automate, and other approved technologies.
- Use and expand the capabilities of Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, and other company-approved AI tools to improve productivity, documentation, troubleshooting, and operational workflows.
- Develop and implement practical AI-assisted workflows, automations, and solutions that address business needs and improve operational efficiency.
- Partner with departments to identify opportunities for AI adoption and assist with evaluating, testing, and implementing appropriate solutions.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend practical applications while ensuring compliance with company security, privacy, and governance standards.
Cybersecurity and Compliance
- Support cybersecurity systems and practices, including Fortinet firewalls, endpoint protection, multi-factor authentication, secure remote access, access controls, and least-privilege practices.
- Monitor and address security alerts, software updates, vulnerability remediation, and backup verification, coordinating with outside technology partners as appropriate.
- Assist with IT audits, compliance initiatives, cybersecurity awareness, and disaster recovery planning.
Other Responsibilities and Expectations
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, procedures, configurations, and technical standards.
- Participate in technology planning, system upgrades, vendor evaluations, and initiatives to improve system reliability, security, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Work effectively with technology vendors and outsourced partners to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Information Technology.
