Seeking a Maintenance Automation Technician to support and optimize automated manufacturing equipment in a high-volume production environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, programming, and improving automation systems to maximize uptime, efficiency, quality, and production output.

Troubleshoot and repair automation equipment, including PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, sensors, instrumentation, and control systems.

Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, ladder logic diagrams, and technical drawings.

Perform routine diagnostics, inspections, and preventive maintenance on automated equipment.

Program and modify PLC and HMI systems to support manufacturing process improvements.

Identify and implement automation improvements that increase efficiency, capacity, quality, and reliability.

Commission, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation and process control systems.

Assist with the design, installation, and startup of new automation equipment and systems.

Perform low-voltage electrical wiring and support mechanical automation projects.

Monitor system performance and maintain accurate documentation and engineering records.

Collaborate closely with maintenance, engineering, production, and vendor partners to resolve issues and support operations.

Technical certificate or degree, or equivalent combination of education and automation maintenance experience.

Experience maintaining automated manufacturing equipment in an industrial environment.

Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, robotics, and industrial control systems.

Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and controls-related issues.

Experience programming and modifying PLC/HMI systems.

Ability to read electrical drawings, P&IDs, and ladder logic diagrams.
