Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Tutors to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have taken and passed their Professional Engineer (PE) exam. This role involves working closely with students to enhance their understanding of complex concepts, develop strong problem-solving techniques and time management for exams.
The position offers flexibility in scheduling and allows for you to tutor on areas where you have the most expertise.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one online tutoring sessions tailored to individual students.
- Assist students in understanding concepts, work through practice problems similar to those on the FE and PE Exams and develop test taking skills
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourage student participation and confidence.
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles.
Experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- Prior teaching experience a plus but not required
The opportunity provides great flexibility in scheduling as students will provide their availability prior to scheduling and then you will be contacted to verify which time best fits your schedule as well. All sessions are held remotely and conducted via an online platform.
