McCullar & Company, Certified Public Accountants and Advisors is seeking a part-time or full-time CPA.
Responsibilities:
- Create a quality work product by following the firm's processes and procedures
- Compile pre-tax documentation to complete business tax returns accurately
- Review, analyze, reconcile, and correct Balance Sheet, and P&L for accuracy
- Prepare individual, business, trust, and HOA tax returns of varying complexities
- Perform all accounting/bookkeeping functions for various types of businesses
- Provide excellent service: quality work, quick turnaround, and attentiveness
- Research IRS/state tax notices and prepare concise responses accordingly
- Comply with professional standards & governing regulations
- Maintain continuing education & professional certifications
Requirements:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- Public accounting experience with an emphasis on tax preparation
- Outstanding communication skills & ability to work with a team or to work alone
- Highly experienced with the GL and month-end/year-end closing processes
- Expert knowledge of accounting procedures and principles
- Excellent accounting software and administrative skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
