The Grove is hiring a Cafe Staff Member to join our team and provide exceptional service to our Members. You'll help create a memorable experience at The Grove by building genuine relationships and offering high quality service in our cafe. You'll serve delicious beverages and baked goods with efficiency and warmth, contributing to a fun, welcoming environment for families.

Job Responsibilities:
Greet all Members with a smile to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Take food and drink orders, answer questions, call guests by name, and thank them for their order. Prepare and serve quality beverages and food items consistently by following recipes and presentation standards. Provide legendary customer service throughout every interaction. Maintain an organized, clean, and well stocked cafe, including the honor bar and displays. Manage vendor schedules and product intake. Promote specials and demonstrate product knowledge. Maintain inventory levels and ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations. Communicate regularly with cafe leads about performance, Member feedback, and operations. Follow opening and closing procedures. Assist with event setup and breakdown. Occasionally bartend during evening events (training provided).
Skills You'll Need:
Excellent customer service and hospitality skills. Strong leadership and teamwork abilities. Basic food handling and safety knowledge. Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast paced environment. Clear, professional communication. Eagerness to learn new skills and take initiative.
Hours: Monday-Tuesday 9am-6pm, Wednesday-Friday 9am-7pm, Saturday-Sunday 8am-1pm (open later for special events)
Job Type: Hourly. Pay: $16-$18/hour depending on experience.
Benefits: Flexible schedule, health insurance (after 3 months), paid training, room for advancement.
