Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. This is an entry-level position. Responsibilities include laying sod, planting, spreading mulch, general landscape cleanup, and assisting with day-to-day outdoor projects. The ideal candidate is reliable, willing to learn, able to work outdoors in various weather conditions, and comfortable with physical work.
Duties
- Operate ground maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools to maintain lawns, gardens, and hardscape features
- Assist with planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and other landscaping elements while ensuring proper plant identification and care
- Perform irrigation system installation, inspection, repair, and management to keep landscapes properly watered
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including pruning, trimming trees and bushes, edging beds, and weed control
- Maintain safety protocol adherence during all activities by using appropriate personal protective equipment and following established safety procedures
- Assist with hardscape projects such as installing pathways, retaining walls, or patios as needed
Qualifications
- Must be physically fit and able to perform demanding outdoor work.
- Must be able to maintain a steady work pace and keep up with the rest of the crew.
- No prior landscaping experience required; training will be provided.
- Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
