Duties
- Assist customers by providing detailed product information, including strain types, effects, and consumption methods
- Complete Housekeeping Tasks
- Conduct engaging product demos to educate customers and enhance their shopping experience
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and ensuring product availability
- Upsell related products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities
- Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, handle cash and card payments with professionalism
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers
- Supervise or mentor new team members, supporting their training in product knowledge and customer service standards
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or cannabis dispensary setting
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and team coordination
- Strong communication skills in bilingual environments to serve diverse customer needs
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math for accurate transactions
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and retail math principles
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and upselling techniques to enhance customer interactions
