Responsibilities
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop, review, and update individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Manage patient records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Patient Management Software to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and accessibility.
- Communicate effectively with patients via phone and client communication channels to schedule appointments, provide updates, and answer questions about treatment procedures.
- Support medical administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and maintaining organized filing systems in compliance with health regulation policies.
- Assist in verifying insurance coverage, processing claims, and explaining health insurance benefits to patients.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information while adhering to HIPAA guidelines and other privacy standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries promptly and professionally, fostering trust and satisfaction throughout their treatment process.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a dental office environment or dental office setting is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Dental Office procedures, including appointment scheduling, billing, and insurance processing.
- Strong knowledge of health regulation policies related to patient privacy and data security.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) for documentation and communication purposes.
- Experience using Eaglesoft or other dental office software.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone and face-to-face interactions.
- Knowledge of dental terminology relevant to treatment planning and patient care coordination.
- Ability to type efficiently while maintaining accuracy during data entry tasks.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting involving electronic health records management or medical administrative support is advantageous.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
