For more than 30 years, Champions In Motion has been creating fun, inclusive youth programs where children can grow, learn, and thrive through cheer, tumbling, leadership, and teamwork.
We are currently seeking an energetic, positive, and dependable Cheer Coach to join our growing team in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, or Georgia.
Position Details
Part-Time | Evening Position
Schedule Requirements:
- 1 weekday evening per week (required)
- Typical hours between 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Occasional weekends throughout the year for competitions, clinics, and special events

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Cheer Coach, you’ll work with youth ages 3–18, helping create an exciting, safe, and encouraging environment where athletes can thrive.
Responsibilities Include:
- Teaching cheer skills using proper technique and safety practices
- Preparing for classes, practices, and team activities
- Assisting with fun and engaging routines, choreography, and performances
- Encouraging athletes and helping them build confidence and skills
- Supporting participants of all ability levels
- Maintaining a positive, structured, and safe class environment
- Basic attendance, record-keeping, and communication with families
What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for someone who is:
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and positive
- Great with kids and passionate about mentoring youth
- Professional, dependable, and approachable
- A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills
- Comfortable using basic technology and social media
- Passionate about cheerleading and youth development
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of cheer experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to commit for a full season/year
- Availability for weekday evening practices
Experience teaching children is a plus — but we provide paid training to help you succeed.
