Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors and toppings to enhance offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients efficiently
- Support the team with general food service duties, including serving guests and managing food handling procedures
- Ensure all food is cooked to the highest quality standards using proper knife skills and cooking techniques
- Participate in catering events or special functions as needed, providing excellent service and meal presentation
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food handling protocols
- Proven culinary experience in restaurant or fine dining settings, showcasing strong cooking skills
- Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety regulations
- Skilled in food industry practices including food handling, kitchen operations, and catering support
- Excellent knife skills and ability to prepare ingredients efficiently for various dishes
- Strong understanding of food service procedures, including serving and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Prior experience with kitchen equipment operation and food preparation techniques preferred

Pay: $22.87 - $27.54 per hour
