Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of office spaces, lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, waxing, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces.
- Sanitize restrooms and kitchens regularly to ensure compliance with health standards and promote a safe environment.
- Handle trash removal, recycling collection, and laundry duties as needed to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Maintain detailed cleaning logs and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
- Use specialized cleaning techniques for commercial windows, upholstery, and hard surfaces to enhance property appearance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant or visitor inquiries courteously and professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
- Familiarity with sanitation procedures for restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch areas.
- Experience with cleaning equipment such as buffers, extractors, vacuums, and steam cleaners.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
- Nice-to-have skills include hotel housekeeping management experience, laundry handling expertise, or prior work in hospitality environments such as hotels or resorts. This energetic role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to make a tangible difference in busy commercial environments!
Pay: $20.00 per hour
