Duties
- Prepare or assist with meal preparation, including food handling, cooking, and plating according to dietary guidelines and menu plans
- Support the dietary team in food service operations, ensuring timely delivery of meals to residents or guests
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Help with food storage, inventory management, and proper labeling of ingredients and prepared items
- Follow all safety protocols during food handling and preparation to prevent contamination or accidents
- Support catering events or special meal occasions by preparing and serving food with professionalism
- Assist with meal setup, serving, and cleanup to ensure a smooth dining experience for all patrons
- 69 Diner serves Breakfast Lunch and Dinner every day of the week.
Skills
- Previous dietary department experience or dietary aide experience is highly valued
- Strong knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in the food industry, including restaurant or kitchen environments, is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards
- Good communication skills and a friendly attitude when serving others
