Summary
PSI Composites is seeking an experienced Fiberglass Laminator to join our team.
Pay Range: Compensation is based on a combination of your skills, background and experience.

Key Responsibilities
Ensures lamination manufacturing operations are in accordance with PSI Quality Standards
Trains and motivates Team Members to achieve the highest levels of productivity and quality.
Troubleshoots issues on the production line related to the manufacturing process.
Works with other departments to ensure parts are completed according to schedule.
Produce manufacturing defect list, write Corrective Action Requests, answer technical questions and order appropriate materials.
Ensures manufacturing operations are in accordance with PSI's Safety Standards, including:
Ensure that workplaces are safe and employees follow proper safety procedures
Be proactive in preventing safety related incidents
Create awareness of safe behavior and teach required skills for working safely
Required Qualifications
Must follow all safety standards and procedures.
Must have the ability to understand and adhere to all quality standards.
Must be able to work well with Diverse teams.
Must be able to Coordinate production responsibilities to maximize productivity and deliver products on time.
Must display a dependable demeanor. Can be counted on to be here daily and get things done on time.
Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written directions.
Open mold, hand-laid Lamination, including small parts.
Lay-up of composite materials, fiberglass, resins, and catalysts onto the mold surface.
Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets industry standards
Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
Proven experience in fiberglass repair, preferably in a marine, automotive or theme park context.
Strong knowledge of fiberglass materials.
Proficiency in the use of fiberglass tools and equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and repair fiberglass issues.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in fiberglass repair.
Preferred:
Detail-Oriented
Able to understand and follow verbal and written directions
Have the ability to interact and communicate with department areas outside your area of responsibility.
Demonstrate a record of dependability and reliability with prior work experience.
Bilingual
Employment Eligibility:
You must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
Applicants must have consistent access to reliable transportation to meet the work schedule
Work Environment
Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature reaching 100 degrees Fahrenheit at times.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods of time. The employee is frequently required to climb into and out of the boats using stairs. The employee must frequently be able to lift 50 pounds, work 8-hour days with most of the time being on your feet, and work overtime, whether planned or unplanned.
