About the Role
Creative Hands Studio is looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on team member to join us as a Customer Service & Art Instructor. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with people and creativity, and who is looking to grow into a leadership position within the studio. We're invested in developing this person into a future Studio Manager role, with opportunities to lead a team, manage scheduling, and help shape a positive, supportive studio culture. Start part time with a possibility of full time role.
Key Responsibilities
Art Instruction & Studio Upkeep
- Teach and facilitate ceramic painting classes and activities for customers of all ages and skill levels
- Set up classes and stations before sessions, including prepping materials and paints
- Organize and restock supplies, keeping the studio tidy and welcoming
- Clean up after classes: sweep, mop, and return supplies to their designated places
- Conduct regular inventory checks and communicate restocking needs
- Clean restrooms and maintain overall studio cleanliness

- Facilitate the ceramic painting experience for customers — helping them choose pieces, colors, and techniques
- Assist customers picking up their finished, fired pieces
- Load and unload the kiln during quieter front-of-house periods
- Provide friendly, attentive service that reflects the studio's warm, welcoming atmosphere

- Leading and supporting the studio team
- Managing scheduling and coordinating substitutes when team members are out
- Fostering a positive, collaborative team culture
What We're Looking For
- A friendly, reliable, and proactive attitude
- Comfort working directly with customers, including kids and families
