Havenview Residential Communities is looking for an Experienced Maintenance Professional for our portfolio of properties located in Omaha, NE.
Brief description of Role:
The ideal candidate will have experience within the maintenance and property management industry, and the ability to demonstrate superior customer service.
Key Accountabilities for this Role:
General responsibilities include:
- Work orders – Anything from plumbing, light electrical, to light HVAC. Anything requiring a license will be passed on to a licensed vendor.
- Turnovers – Position may include painting, debris removal, flooring and other work necessary to turn an apartment unit to a new tenant after a vacancy.
- Remodels – This may include – but does not necessarily require all the skills to complete – cabinet work, painting, vinyl flooring, hardware, faucet and fixture installation, trim and woodwork.
- Working hand in hand with the General Maintenance Manager and the Property Managers.
- Adhering to Havenview Residential Communities safety standards at all times.
- Parts run, grounds maintenance, trash pick up, etc.
- Provide other general property maintenance duties.
- Regularly conduct inspections for the properties assessing for any damages to windows, doors, and walls for repairs
- Checking operational excellence with routine maintenance or replacements on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring.
Knowledge, Experience, Education Requirements:
- True “people person” with passion for maintenance and property management with the highest degree of professionalism at all times.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule. Some overtime/on-call services may be required.
- Superior time management skills with the ability to organize and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Thrive while working in a fast-paced environment.
Position Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Job duties require employees to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and use repetitive motion on a daily basis.
- EPA Certification preferred, not required.
- HVAC Certification preferred, not required.
- Pool Certification preferred, not required.
