Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Hotel General Manager to lead our hospitality team and oversee all aspects of hotel operations. Duties
- Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk management, housekeeping, food and beverage services, and maintenance to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Supervise and motivate hospitality teams, including front desk staff, housekeeping personnel, and food service teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Manage hospitality operations budgets, monitor revenue streams, control expenses, and implement strategies to maximize profitability through effective revenue management techniques.
- Ensure compliance with hotel management standards, property management systems (PMS), and hospitality reservation systems to optimize booking efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, ensuring high standards of customer service, and implementing initiatives to enhance guest loyalty.
- Lead human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to build a skilled and motivated team.
- Oversee financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, night audit procedures, and financial reporting to support sustainable growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS), hospitality reservation systems, and multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette.
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively.
- Demonstrated ability in overseeing daily hotel operations with expertise in revenue management and financial oversight.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing hospitality teams across various departments such as front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and human resources.
- Excellent managerial communication skills coupled with a customer service-oriented mindset.
- Experience working in resort environments or hotels with night audit responsibilities is preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
