Job Overview
The Material Expediter plays a critical role in our supply chain and requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual. As a Material Expediter will be responsible for physical movement for priority items to their respective MRO. You will analyze material levels and project schedules to help reduce MRO shortages.
The Material Expediter will report directly to the Planning Manager with a “dotted-line” to logistics management for transactional movement of parts from the warehouse.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials within the warehouse according to MRO production schedules.
- Use the ERP system to track inventory data and identity areas for improvement.
- Act as a point of contact for the MRO Expediting Team.
- Proactively identify and report potential material shortages before they impact Production.
- Help maintain records by using established processes set by the Warehouse Department.
- Collaborate with Procurement/Planning teams to add substitutions when primary items are unavailable.
- Safely operate equipment like forklifts or hand trucks to move and position inventory for shipment.
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years in manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Comfortable working in a noisy manufacturing environment and must be able to lift 50-60 lbs.
- Familiarity with aerospace industry standards (AS9100, ISO 9001) and FAA regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel for data analysis.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
