We are looking for a "Rockstar" dental assistant to join a small family friendly office that offers a comfortable work atmosphere, where we care greatly for our patients. Dental assistants should be well-organized and must have excellent communication / customer service skills with great attention to detail. Prefer atleast 2 year experience and must have a great personality and good communication skills. If you are enthusiastic, good team player and want to take great care of our patients then apply right away .
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients in the dental office
- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Schedule appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
Skills
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Good computer skills
- Knowledge of word / excel / powerpoint
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Good social media presence / marketing skills
- Well-organized and reliable
- High school diploma; graduation from dental assistant school
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
