About the Opportunity
K2D Law is a growing law firm that represents clients in Probate Law, Employment Law, Personal Injury, and Lemon Law matters. As the firm continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced Probate Attorney to join our team in Tempe, Arizona.
This role focuses on managing probate matters and is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 3–5 years of probate law experience who is looking to continue growing their career within a collaborative and fast-paced legal environment.
Attorneys in this role will work alongside the K2D legal team, guiding clients through the probate process, administering estates, resolving probate-related matters, and providing compassionate legal counsel during what is often a difficult time for families.

What You'll Do
Probate Case Management
- Manage probate matters from initial filing through resolution.
- Guide clients through estate administration and probate proceedings.
- Develop case strategies and ensure timely progression of matters.
Drafting & Documentation
- Prepare probate petitions, pleadings, motions, court filings, and related legal documents.
- Draft correspondence and estate administration documentation.
- Review and organize probate-related records and supporting documentation.
Legal Research
- Conduct legal research related to Arizona probate statutes, case law, trusts, estates, and probate procedures.
Client Communication
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding the status of their probate matters.
- Explain legal processes, timelines, and next steps in a clear and compassionate manner.
- Respond promptly to client questions and concerns.
Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with the K2D legal team, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management and client service.
Professional Conduct
- Maintain a professional presence with clients, colleagues, courts, and outside parties.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- 3–5 years of Probate Law experience required
- Active Arizona Bar license (UBE licensed preferred)
- Experience handling probate and estate administration matters independently
- Experience appearing before probate courts is preferred
