Private practice is looking for Psychiatric NP's who want to join a growing outpatient psychiatric facility. The position is a contracted (1099) permanent position and can be done virtually, hybrid or in office. This position brings flexibility as there are no set time frames for intake or follow up appointments, you can decide how long you want to spend with each person you see. The more people you see the higher your income, but you make those decisions as you wish. You can see whatever age group fits your expertise and decide what types of diagnoses you prefer to treat.
Practice requires Psych NP to provide service at least one day a week from the office and the rest of the time telemedicine can be done remotely. We have strong billing and administrative support and offer a unique Biweekly pay structure which is one of the best in the area.
Qualifications
- At least have two years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or have one year of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner plus three years as a Nurse Practitioner in any specialty
- Must be board-certified to practice
- Must have an active license in the State of Florida, PMHNP preferred.
- Must have an active DEA certificate
- Work Experience in an outpatient setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
- Provide medication management and brief psychotherapeutic interventions.
- Administer injections for Long-Acting Injectables (LAIs) when necessary
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrist, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
- Provide documentation of the services rendered in compliance with the company policies and procedures.
- Stay current with advancements in psychiatry through continuing education and professional development.
