Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled AutoCAD Draftsman/Designer with strong 2D and 3D modeling experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings, 3D models, and design documentation to support engineering and production teams.
This role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D design software, with the ability to translate concepts and specifications into high-quality drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and revise 2D AutoCAD drawings based on project specifications
- Develop 3D models and renderings for design visualization and production
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and team members to ensure design accuracy
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical requirements into detailed drawings
- Maintain organized drawing files and documentation
- Ensure designs comply with company standards and industry regulations
- Make revisions based on feedback and project changes
- Prepare layout drawings, assembly drawings, and detailed part drawings
Requirements
- Proven experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman or Designer
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
- Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, Revit, or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field
- Experience in Industrial Systems, Railroad Systems, Process Piping
- Knowledge of fabrication or production processes
- Experience creating realistic 3D renderings
