Duties
- Assist with the installation of rebar, formwork, and concrete pouring to ensure structural integrity.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively on various construction sites.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support accurate execution of construction plans.
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Support masonry, carpentry, roofing, stucco application, and flooring installation tasks as needed.
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to prevent accidents and ensure team safety.
- Aid in concrete cutting, finishing, pumping, and other related tasks to meet project specifications.
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related trades environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation are advantageous.
- Ability to interpret construction plans, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices is highly valued.
- Experience with specific skills such as rebar installation, formwork construction, concrete finishing, or masonry will set candidates apart.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights (roofing), or in confined spaces is essential.
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving or operating heavy equipment is a plus but not mandatory.
