Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled working Foreman/Electrician to lead electrical projects on commercial and industrial construction sites. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electrical installation teams on construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics to guide installation processes.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain low voltage and high voltage electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized testing equipment such as ohmmeters.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and local safety regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless workflow and timely project completion.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems during various phases of construction or renovation projects; identify issues early and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including shift reports, inspection logs, and compliance records.
Experience
- Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems in construction environments.
- Hands-on experience with schematics reading and troubleshooting complex electrical circuits.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and technical schematics accurately for installation or repair tasks.
- Familiarity with low voltage wiring systems as well as high voltage power distribution is essential.
- Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols and OSHA standards is required.
