Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest issues in residential and commercial properties. You will work independently while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective service delivery.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and assess the extent of the problem.
- Develop and implement pest management plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Apply appropriate pesticides and treatments safely and effectively, following all safety protocols.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and pest control equipment as necessary for pest control operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about treatment plans and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including products used and recommendations made.
- Drive to various job sites efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pest control techniques, and relevant regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients.
- A valid driver’s license is required for travel between job sites.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks associated with pest control services.
