We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team at our Dellwood location (10486 W Florissant Ave). As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting the store management team in achieving business goals.

Oversee daily store operations and ensure efficient workflow during assigned shifts

Provide outstanding customer service and resolve customer inquiries or concerns promptly

Manage and motivate team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment

Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records

Assist in inventory management and stock control

Ensure store cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards

Train and develop new team members

Support the implementation of company policies and procedures

Assist in creating employee schedules and managing time-off requests

Collaborate with the store manager to achieve sales targets and improve store performance

Respond to and resolve employee issues or concerns

Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
Qualifications

Proven experience in retail or food service management, preferably in an assistant manager role

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members

Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor

Proficiency in cash handling and basic financial management

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Basic computer proficiency, including point-of-sale systems and scheduling software

Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus
