Job Title: Production Supervisor – (Plastic Injection Molding)

About the Role
Sicame Industries is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead day shift operations in our plastic injection molding environment. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and team performance while supporting daily manufacturing goals.

Work schedule: Position will transition to a rotating day shift (7:00am-7:00pm). Weekend availability is required based on production needs.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and support production employees to meet daily output, safety, and quality goals.
- Oversee the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of plastic injection molding machines and processes.
- Adjust staffing and machine utilization to maintain production efficiency and meet deadlines.
- Partner closely with Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to resolve equipment and process issues.
- Maintain accurate production reports, downtime logs, and shift documentation.
- Promote a culture of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and manufacturing standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in plastic manufacturing.
- 1–2 years of leadership, lead, or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of plastic injection molding and/or extrusion processes.
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and weekends as needed.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 environments.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Experience with RJG and/or scientific molding is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
