Description
Job Description: We are seeking a high-energy, resilient National Account Sales Associate to drive outbound business development for our light commercial and retail repair & maintenance (R&M) divisions. This is a 100% in-office position located at our corporate headquarters. Your primary mission is to secure service agreements and project bids across our national footprint, with a hyper-focus on expanding our Southeast regional market. You will make approximately 50 daily cold calls from our sales floor to retail corporate facility directors, regional managers, and commercial property stakeholders to turn cold outreach into steady, recurring R&M contracts.
Effectively communicate with clients and field service personnel, gather the necessary information to prepare estimates and coordinate a team of trade professionals of different disciplines to ensure all projects are completed on time, according to requirements, and without exceeding budget.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing target plans, growing the pipeline to meet new business targets, and driving sustainable growth. A blend of enthusiasm, energy, and drive is essential for success in this role.
You will also be expected to perform clerical and administrative functions as well as assisting the Operations Manager in managing our accounts and clients, while meeting performance metrics and quality service goals.
Responsibilities:
- Execute Cold Campaigns: Call up to 50 retail facilities targets daily from our West Palm Beach office to pitch national and Southeast regional repair, maintenance, and light commercial renovation services.
- Target Corporate Decision-Makers: Research and engage retail corporate facility managers, asset managers, and commercial property management firms handling multi-site portfolios.
- Secure Bid Opportunities: Present our capabilities to get our company added to commercial Approved Vendor Lists (AVL) and regional Request for Proposal (RFP) registries.
- Promote Multi-Site Agreements: Pitch preventative maintenance packages, multi-location service contracts, and roll-out programs tailored for national retail footprints.
- Master Sage CRM: Log all prospect data, communication history, facility pain points, and follow-up activities daily within our Sage CRM system to ensure clean, actionable pipeline data.
- Collaborate On-Site: Work directly alongside our estimating and operations teams on the sales floor to quickly pass qualified leads and quote opportunities.
- Engage with potential clients to understand their facilities needs.
- High Rejection Resilience: Ability to maintain a positive, professional demeanor through high volumes of corporate gatekeepers and unanswered calls.
- Initiate portfolio growth through cold calls, customer research, emails, site visits and Sales Closing
- Communicate with prospective clients and assist with generating sales
- Making a large number of outbound sales related calls daily.
- Must meet quarterly sales goals.
- Properly document daily activity including call notes and depositions
- Provide maintenance and construction project pricing
- Receive instructions from clients and their agents
- Prepare and provide estimates to clients
- Plan and implement small to medium projects
- Evaluate strategies and procedures
- Ensure deadlines and cost targets are met
- Maintain required project documentation
- Complete monthly billing and navigate through customer portals
- Serve as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects
- Ability to manage on-call and emergency requests
- Must have reliable transportation
- Maintain General office supplies and assist in answering phones
Qualifications:
- Great people skills are a must
- The ability to speak clearly, confidently, and informatively. Must be comfortable on the phone.
- Previous experience in facility repair, construction, or other related fields is a plus
- Experience in sales and closing (retail and commercial) is preferred
- Must be able to handle a fast-paced industry and demanding clients while maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills

- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Leadership capabilities with the ability to manage and motivate field service personnel
- PC proficient
- Strong ability to multitask and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Construction and/or facilities maintenance knowledge is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time, 100% in-office
Pay: Base pay $18 - $20 / hr + Commission
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
