About the Position
Lilac & Grace Boutique is looking for a reliable and hardworking Summer Warehouse Assistant to help keep our warehouse organized and running smoothly during our busy season. This position primarily involves moving inventory, boxes, and merchandise between our upstairs and downstairs warehouse areas, along with assisting with general warehouse organization and projects.
Responsibilities
- Move boxes, inventory, and supplies between upstairs and downstairs storage areas
- Organize and maintain warehouse storage locations
- Assist with inventory organization and restocking
- Help unload and put away incoming shipments
- Assist with special warehouse projects as needed
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
- Follow company safety procedures when lifting and moving merchandise
Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable using stairs throughout the workday
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and attendance
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Must be at least 16 years old
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, retail, or stocking experience is a plus but not required
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
