Warehouse & Asset Recovery Associate – Chicago, IL
Pay Range: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour | Full-Time
About the Role
Join Legacy Transportation's Chicago operations team as a Warehouse & Asset Recovery Associate! This hands-on position supports warehouse operations, equipment recovery, and recycling initiatives. The ideal candidate enjoys working with tools, has mechanical aptitude, and takes pride in maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
What You'll Do
- Disassemble medical equipment using hand and power tools to recover reusable components and recyclable materials.
- Sort, organize, and prepare materials for recycling, storage, or shipment.
- Inspect, clean, organize, and maintain shipping fixtures.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material staging activities.
- Load and unload trailers using forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Follow established safety procedures, safety protocols and equipment handling requirements.

Salary Description
$22.00 – $25.00 per hour
Requirements:
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, production or recycling, or related experience preferred.
- Forklift experience and ability to be forklift certified required.
- Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to follow written instructions and established procedures.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
