Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year! With a manageable caseload of approximately 55 students, you’ll provide targeted support in a collaborative school environment—either onsite or via teletherapy, depending on student needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current state licensure or eligibility; CCC preferred, but CFY candidates will be considered
- Previous school-based SLP experience is a plus
- Demonstrated proficiency with middle school-aged students (grades 6–8)
- Comfortable providing teletherapy services if needed
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students in grades 6–8
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs), maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy both onsite and via teletherapy platforms
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to maximize student success
- Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and provide regular updates to stakeholders
