Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Reservations Coordinator to join our team. In this vital role, you will manage all aspects of reservation processes focused first on lodging and then expanding to activities, dining, and golf tee-times. Your enthusiasm for hospitality and excellent communication skills will help foster guest relations, uphold service standards, and support the overall success of our resort.
Duties
- Handle reservation inquiries through the use of our website and internal property management systems such as Opera, TravelClick, and HubSpot.
- Respond promptly and professionally to reservation inquiries via phone and email, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Coordinate with all resort departments to ensure reservations are handled seamlessly to promote maximized guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and guest preferences to enhance personalized service.
- Assist with guest services by addressing special requests or concerns in a friendly and proactive manner.
- Ensure all reservation activities comply with hospitality best practices and resort policies and procedures.
- Clear and concise communication with guests required to ensure revenue is maximized and unnecessary adjustments are avoided.
Experience
- Prior experience in reservation management or hospitality environment required.
- Demonstrating excellent guest relations skills.
- Familiarity with computer systems such as Opera or other similar PMS systems.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly via phone and in person, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Basic math skills for handling reservations, rates, taxes and billing support.
- Organizational skills essential for managing multiple reservations efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of hospitality operations will set candidates apart.
