You Are a Great Fit for This Role When You Have:
- At least two (2) years of experience working in Senior Care or Direct Patient Care as a Caregiver, CNA, or HHA (Required)
- Experience in non-medical home care or other health care facility experience (Preferred)
- Valid Driver's License (Required)
- Valid auto insurance (Required)
- Ownership of a reliable vehicle for all scheduled work days (Required)
- The ability to travel anywhere within FirstLight Home Care of Austin’s Territory
- One (1) year of related experience in training others (Preferred)
- Requires proficiency in electronic documentation and file management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft and/or Google suites (Required)
- Must possess and demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as a positive, professional, business image, and a creative mindset.

A Day In The Life: FirstLight Scheduling Coordinator
This individual will coordinate and maintain schedules for FirstLight Home Care clients and staff.
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
JOB RELATIONSHIPS:
- Supervised by: Care Coordinator
- Workers Supervised: N/A

- Schedule client appointments/visits according to Service Plan/Care Plans and staff availability
- Create and release weekly schedules for all assigned caregivers
- Contact care providers and clients regarding day-to-day changes
- Discern client services required as outlined in agreements, urgent requests, and care plans
- Perform general office duties, including, but not limited, to data entry and file management, word processing, photocopies, files, shreds, sorting/distributing mail, providing reception coverage, telephone services, etc.
- Maintain a safe and clean reception area
- Attends and reports at weekly staff meetings
- Conducts and records reference checks on potential new hires
- Leads caregiver candidates from onboarding to orientation
- Conducts introductions of caregivers to clients as the need arises
- Maintains relationships with building management, office suppliers, service providers, and external office administration provider partners, as applicable
- Maintains office equipment operation by completing preventive maintenance procedures; troubleshooting malfunctions; initiating repair requests; maintaining inventories; evaluating new equipment, as necessary
- Act as a FLOAT CAREGIVER to cover unassigned, critical shifts, as needed (Required)
