Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to meet high standards of cleanliness
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure hygienic environments
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care and efficiency
- Clean floors using various floor care techniques, including sweeping, scrubbing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces
- Maintain the cleanliness of all surfaces by dusting, wiping down furniture, appliances, and fixtures regularly
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and janitorial tools
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or appliances while adhering to safety protocols
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and ensure satisfaction during each visit
- Follow established janitorial and custodial procedures for sanitation to promote healthy living environments
- Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled appointments without compromising quality
Experience
- Prior experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping management is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, surface cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and janitorial equipment is advantageous
- Experience with outdoor work or outdoor cleaning tasks is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their cleaning preferences
- Demonstrated ability to handle manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and cleaning procedures ensures a high level of service quality
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience will support your success in maintaining cleanliness standards across diverse residential settings

Pay: $25.51 - $30.73 per hour
