Through MyWoosah, providers may receive opportunities to support:
- Children and families
- Older adults
- Adults who need assistance with daily activities
- Individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Families needing backup or temporary care
- School pickup, drop-off, or other transportation needs
- Prenatal, postpartum, and newborn-care needs
- Household and homemaker-support needs
- Pets and other family-care needs
Providers choose the types of services they are qualified and willing to perform.
How the Opportunity Works
This is a flexible, assignment-based opportunity; not a guaranteed-hour position.
When families request care in your area, you may be notified of assignments that match your qualifications, location, services, and availability. You can review available opportunities and decide which assignments you would like to accept.
The number of assignments and hours available may vary based on:
- Demand in your service area
- Your stated availability
- The services you are qualified to provide
- Your willingness to accept short-notice or backup-care requests
- Your reliability and performance on previous assignments
- Family or client preferences
Providers who maintain broad and accurate availability; including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and short-notice periods; may have access to more opportunities and potentially more hours. However, MyWoosah does not guarantee any minimum number of assignments, clients, or weekly hours.
What You’ll Do
Depending on the assignments you accept, your responsibilities may include:
- Providing safe, attentive, and dependable care
- Supervising and supporting children or adults
- Assisting with age-appropriate or client-approved activities
- Preparing simple meals or snacks when requested
- Providing companionship and engagement
- Assisting with approved daily-living activities
- Supporting established routines and care instructions
- Providing light housekeeping related to the care assignment
- Transporting clients when authorized and when you meet the applicable requirements
- Communicating professionally with families and MyWoosah
- Arriving on time and completing accepted assignments as scheduled
- Reporting concerns, incidents, or changes in the client’s condition promptly
- Protecting the privacy, dignity, and personal information of every client
