Tool Room Technician Details:
-
Temp-to-Hire position
-
$25.00 /hour
-
Full Time work available
-
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm)

Manufacture and repair tooling, dies, molds, and fixtures.
-
Operate machine tools such as: Lathes, Milling machines, Surface grinders, CNC machines, Drill presses
-
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
-
Measure and inspect parts using precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
-
Troubleshoot tooling problems and perform corrective maintenance.
-
Assemble and test tooling components.
-
Maintain tool inventory and records.
-
Follow safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
-
Work closely with engineers, maintenance personnel, and production staff to improve tooling performance.
Tool Room Technician Qualifications:
-
Knowledge of machining practices and tool materials
-
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
-
Ability to read technical drawings and understand tolerances
-
Experience with precision measuring equipment
-
Technical training in machining, tool & die or Manufacturing technology preferred
-
Knowledge of CNC programming is a plus
-
Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
