Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver and Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate various vehicles including box trucks and other commercial vehicles with manual transmissions to deliver goods promptly along designated routes.
- Load and unload deliveries using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring proper handling of heavy or bulky items.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, complete route documentation, and communicate effectively with dispatch teams.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service during deliveries, addressing client questions or concerns with a positive attitude.
- Assist in food preparation, kitchen organization, and maintaining cleanliness standards to support daily operations.
- Support in moving supplies or equipment within the facility as needed, including heavy lifting tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols related to driving, warehouse handling, and food safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, particularly with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to load, unload, and transport goods safely using forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Strong customer service skills with an energetic approach to interactions.
- Experience working in warehouses or logistics environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of route driving best practices and adherence to traffic laws and safety standards.
- Flexibility to support kitchen duties including moving supplies or assisting with food prep when needed.
