Duties
- Provide full range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, hair extensions, and straight razor shaves with precision and care
- Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing retail sales efficiently
- Educate clients on hair care routines, product recommendations, and upselling retail items to boost sales and meet client needs
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools and workstations according to health regulations
- Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, checking in appointments, and handling client inquiries with excellent communication skills
- Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in color theory, hair styling tips, and customer service excellence to foster a collaborative environment
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling and cutting techniques
- Proficiency in salon software systems such as MINDBODY for appointment management and retail transactions
- Strong knowledge of color theory, hair extensions application, eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and sanitation practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their needs
- Experience in retail sales and upselling strategies to maximize revenue opportunities
