We are seeking a qualified Surgery APP for an ongoing locums opportunity in Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surgical APP who enjoys a 100% OR-based first-assist role.
Details of the Opening:
- Start Date: September 1, 2026
- Assignment: Ongoing or 26 week contract
- Schedule: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Coverage: Scheduled OR blocks | No call
Schedule & Specialties
- Urology – General: Wednesdays
- Urology – Uro-Oncology: Tuesdays
- Gyn Oncology: Mondays & Thursdays
- Endo Surgery: Mondays & Tuesdays
- Otology: 1 day/week, schedule TBD
Role Details:
- 100% OR
- Primary first assist
- Adult patient population
- Inpatient/Outpatient setting
- Approximately 2–3 cases per day
- No clinic
- No rounding or consults
- No independent patient management
- No bedside procedures
- No call
Surgical & Robotic Experience:
- Urology General: ~30% robotic
- Urology Uro-Oncology: ~60% robotic
- Gyn Oncology: ~80% robotic
- Endo Surgery: No robotic cases
- Otology: No robotic cases
Requirements:
- Board Certification: required
- Texas license required; license can be pending
- Surgical first-assist experience preferred

Pay: $128.00 per hour
